Stars aren't favouring Dr. APJ Kalam any more. Only he himself n general public considers him just a scientist. So, he him self and the public neither mind , spare, protect nor instantly protest during security checks. But few still consider him a Politician. Now, Dr.Kalam is targeted from non other than his own Scientific community. Dr. Homi Sethna, equally eminent scientist, Ex Chairman of Nuclear Energy Commission & the scientist to make Pokharan Test 1974 a grand success is counting Dr. Kalam as a Politician. He scolded Dr.Kalam for having no scientific authority to certify that Pokharan 1998 was a success. Dr.Kalam had contradicted the claim by senior scientist Santhanam that Pokharan 1998 was of Limited success. Dr.Sethna shockingly went on to the extent to accuse Dr.Kalam for not having any knowledge of Nuclear Science and advised him to refrain from cheap publicity. Now, thats too much to be listened to. If Dr. Sethna is wise enough to count Dr. Kalam as a man of Politics, how could Dr. Sethna neglect international political correctness shown by Dr. Kalam in erasing Santhanam who might be scientifically correct but politically dude ? It smells that Dr. Sethna has some old personal unsettled rivalry account with Dr.Kalam. It would be worth digging up to check if Dr. Sethna has lost Presidential candidature to Dr.Kalam. As a Nation its a National insult. For reasons not worth, any one can belittle a person who is your ex president is mindless misuse of democracy. Why this is happening ? Its because of lack of political training to Dr.Kalam. When you appoint some one out side Politics as the President, you must have a solid training programme to reshape the mind set of that person. He must be made forget that he is any one else than The man in Chief of a Sovereign Nation. Routinely, he must be adequately supported with armour of Protocols. When he is alone, he must be able to show the strength and wisdom to behave like an ex President of a Nation. Imagine, what would happen if some one tries to body check Lalu ? Instinctively he will undoubtedly act like an Owner and not a scientist wearing Id card around the neck or as a general Subject of this Nation. We must understand that Rulers must act like Rulers. Politicians are the rulers. But they are so horrible as no training is available. Once, Shivaji Maharaj was made to surrender all most of his State and forts to the mighty army of Aurangzeb lead by Mirza Jaysingh who had won the battle. Maharaj was captivated and was to be produced in the Court of Aurangzeb. Jaysingh knew that in spite of the defeat Maharaj would never bow in front of Aurangzeb. So he tactfully tried to navigate Maharaj thru a low gate, almost like a window, where in any one would have to kneel down to pass thru. Maharaj instantly sensed the trap and first put his left foot thru that gate and without leaning from the waist, with full blown chest , entered like a Lion. Thats how the Sovereignty and Self esteem must be protected by the Top Most Leader of any Nation. But now,our Nation is in the hands of Politicians who aren't really Politicians but merely power hungry liches who find no shame in behaving Sar Zuka Sakate hai lekin Sar kata sakate Nahi.. Who find nothing wrong in Kandahar Episode.. who find nothing wrong in scapegoating a gentleman and person with purest chastity like Dr. Kalam. Neither Congress nor BJP who had unanimously selected Dr. Kalam as our President, have said a word to protect the esteem of National Ex President Dr. Kalam. Pitiably left all alone by all those who lifted him off, his pre launch ground collegues are now biting him. He appears to be belonging to No man's land. Na idhar ke Na udhar ke. Scientists see Politician in him to bash squarely and Politicians mutely watch him simply as altitude loosing debris of rocket booster duly falling off towards ocean after completing designed task. Sufferring Nations : Paying the price for Setting Goals Larger than National Interests by the Step Mother & National Fathers.

In a team game like cricket, soccer etc, a win or defeat can't be credited to a single person. The whole team is responsible. What ever the results are , if game is played fairly without fixing and in sportsman's spirit then the game wins and no team is wounded with defeat. Let us try to evaluate the partition of India according to sports. There are 2 stages. 1. The Carom View > The Bord had 4 players. The British, The Muslims, The Hindus and The Seculars. The British, the defending champions, wanted to go home ASAP. They had won all white coins in previous 150 years and walking away smiling was the only task left. Muslims won the Red Queen the Pakistan and the Black Cover : Bangladesh. Seculars pocketed remaining all black coins, the remaining India. The Hindus lost without any score ! They thot in spite the bord, the queen,the coin, the striker all belonged to them but they have no place left on the face of the planet, simply coz there cannot be any Hindusthan as exclusive as Pakistan. They couldn't get an acre of Land from what they perceive as their own land as they were the first to settle in the geography here. Why this happened ? Stage 2 . The answer is in Cricket Format: At that time, except for Hindu Team, rest all the teams had Powerful and Ambitious Captains. The Queen , our step Mother,Jinnah the Pak Dad and Chacha Nehru,the surrogate Papa were the Mighty Captains ( Gandhiji was Captain without a Political Team and No National agenda but Humanity agenda.) But there was no Captain for Hindus. Seculars and their captain Chacha, upon whom neither the Muslim League nor the unorganised Hindus had slightest faith had silently hijacked and owned Gandhiji's Maun (As self punishment by Mahatma in protest of Partition.) Both, Jinnah and Nehru were extremely cunning opportunists and hard core ambitious. Gandhiji ran away from responsibility of running his dearest secular state. He never thoght of running PMO office from Sewagram or Sabarmati Ashram. Had Gandhiji and K.A.Gaffar Khan jointly taken political responsibilities, the partition would have been avoided. But Gandhiji's goal was bigger than A Nation. He wanted to wear a double crown of permanant Mahatma cum Father of Nation. So did Jinnah's goal, who wanted to be permanantly known as Father of Pakistan. Nehru had to keep him self satisfied with designation of The First PM of Secular India, as Father of Nation post was already filled by the Mahatma. What Now ?The unrest in the National mind is coz of fear and hate towards other religion. When hatred reaches extremity, the love begin to sprout. A jail bird for many years finds the Walls more trustworthy than the outer open world. Similarly , [BJP leaders (Currently they are election defeat frustrated as well] enjoyed hating Jinnah and Nehru equally for 70 years are singing love songs for Jinnah . No wonder if they conduct Gulab Satsang(h) on Childrens day, 14th Nov, the Chachas B'day ! Its good that every one of us is understanding that Secular India is a reality no body can deny. Equally its important to note the latent fears in the minds of Hindus and Muslims existing for sure. Dealing with these fears diligently and effectively can only keep the secular spirits alive. Let us be open to accept, discuss and reduce the fears , at least arriving at 'Don't trust, Don't distrust, respect each other ' level is essential to become a STRONG NATION. Forget Fathers and Mother of the Past who didn't cared really for our Nation. Care for Today. Be a responsible owner of this nation. The Take off Anxity.

I am a Student in 12th Std. the carrier of a burden of anxity. The feeling of insecurity is same as experianced by the first time Aeroplane Riders. Getting Admitted in 11th Std. is like Reporting at the Airport. The passing out of 11 th made me surrender the baggage, the belongings I love so much like watching TV, going to movies, freaking out, non academic Googling, Orkuting, Facebooking, week ends, birthday parties , all transfered to lock ups of the custody . The Securtity checks by numorus tests by the Tution Lords troubled so much. Then came the Boarding Pass, the Hall Ticket and waiting at Exam hall getting queued up with co-passengers. Looking back I realised to have gained frightening insignificans in geometric proportions. Now, left alone, with things I hated most, the Hall Ticket ! that resemble the Passport and the Visa. The best wishes from relatives and elderly are like the charment Air Hostess, assuring me best for the journey. Then I moved inside the huge but clusteric plane with the descipline of Ant line. Poured at last in my seat, wondering, how could this massive structure leave the solid ground and how could the invisible air make it lift up, float and move ahead as well ? ! The Pen and Paper would really make a carreer soar high ? Wouldnt it fall like a stone ? I know all the science, technology and systems behind it but the gutt feeling loudly shouts : The Bernoulli's Principle that makes flying possible , may miserably be lost to the Newtons Gravity. Next, remebered suddenly, as I swayed away in a direction I really didnt know leading where, I must have vanished from the dampened Radar of the eyes of my parents came to see me off. Any way, I have to focus some where else as well. I must catch the connecting flight of CET / PMT. Wishing Good Luck to myself !

THE DAY AFTER POLA AND DAY BEFORE TOMORROW !

Infinitely praising the unknown mastermind who so ever created the irrational balance in functioning of our civilisation cannot be considered as flattery after reading this down. While the second day of Pola, the Tanha Pola, last day of Shravan, the month of penance, ensuring the children are well engaged to get embossed with spirit of Thanks giving, the ex children, the no longer children and the causes of the existence of the children, burry themselves in realising a much awaited literally Spirited day known as Polyachi Kar. Whole 24 hrs, they play Ganjifa, soak the gastric tracks and cleanse the nephro networks with the age old vapor condensed elixirs with or without any label and or dihydrogen oxide and or the fizz. The month long curfew imposed by some anti Maneka but animal lovers, (A.M.B.A.Ls") struggling hard to avoid consuming mouth irrigating hot masala delicasies of the eggs,chicken, goat belonging to Roaming Kingdom while some other down to earth - worms who had stayed away from Onions, Ginger and Garlic the land lines of the underworld concludes on the Polyachi Kar. Thats how the Shrawan (The Ramzan of the Hindus ? !! ) Month ends. Following comes the Bhadrapada n ignites the season of celebrations with arrival of the Ganesha, the lord of wisdom and intelligence. For the fortunate God Fearing creed of AMBALs, this creates an unique dilemma. The God Fear makes them ristrict the inputs to vegeatable kingdom but the omnivorus instincts perpetuates the craving for bones and flesh. The logical explaination to quench the fire of dilemma goes like this > The Ganesha was born as a Human, the Omnivorous but implanting the Elephant Head instantly turned him to a Herbivorous. So, the 'Chatur' God fearers, without any kintu - parantu (Dilemma) are entitled to follow instincts suiatably untill end of the day before tommorow , the Ganesh Chaturthi. It appears the Ganesha now fears them who intentionally limit his own enjoyment frugally to the Milk but wouldn't even think to share a drop of the Divine Cheers with him ! He just asked me, sadly, why they offer all the fun to my dad, Lord Shankara? My guess : Bappa, every one has witnessed U really consumed millions of Liters of Milk offered . Why any one would risk sharing anything further, especially those having your own blessings are undoubtedly turned wiser ! U are quiet Humanised U dont behave like ur Dad, the Good God !! Ganapati Bappa Moraya, Darula sparsh karu naka, sagali amchya saathich rahu dya ! Oh, the lord of Wisdom, dont touch the booz, let it be reserved for us alone !

Pola : Thanks Giving of Central India.

Central India's economy is based on Agriculture. When the Tractors, Harvesters, Threshers, Electric Pumps and Diesel Engines were not in existence, the Dallal Street, Share market were no where in any dictionary, no Bulls neither the Bears existed, the Ox used propel the life by helping to plough the fields,drive the carts transporting the farm produces, utilities and men, thrash the raw grains, power the water lifting mechanisms, run the expellers of edible and lubricant Oil Seeds. The Bull power remained the biggest Natural power harnessed by Central India in last 5000+ years. Recognising the immense contribution , &lt;Exploitation?> of the Ox power, this civilisation acknowledges and respects the Oxen by honourably celebrating a 2 day festival 'The Pola'. Although, now a days, there are very few jobs left for oxen, the festival is still celebrated with charm and enthusiasm. The oxen are given bath, their horns n toes get painted , special and colourfull overcoats called the Zool are worn over the oxen. Metallic bells hanged around their necks ring pleasantly. The owner then worships the fleet of oxen and feed them the Puran Poli, a type of Sweet cake. In the late afternoon, all the oxen in the villages gather for Pola. Accompanied by the music and band the parade of decorated oxen moves on the main streets and people who dont own the oxen worship them on their door steps. On second day, known as the Tanha Pola, the children go home to home with beautifully decorated Toy Oxen made up of clay and enjoy treats of limlets, sweets, cents and gifts. The follow up seems aimed to emboss the sense of gratitude on the young minds. The spirit of the Pola is to say Thanks to the Oxen, the silent and dumb power that the civilisation harnessed for its development and prosperity. Astronomically, the Pola is celebrated on the New moon day, when the Sun and Moon are simultaneously in the Constellation of Leo. Season wise, its receding Monsoons and crops are in their mid young age. India now on the thresh hold of setting its aims on the Moon and Mars Missions, will leave behind the ancient rituals n slowly stop old celebrations. But I am sure, the Spirits would continue , Say Thanks to everything that helps you. Never forget who helps you. " HAPPY POLA"
